About.

Rayan Alfadel is an architect and urban designer, passionate about the intersection of architecture, technology, economics, policy, and urbanism as pathways to social and spatial justice.

Raised in a multicultural household by a Jordanian father and Mexican-American mother, Rayan's diverse upbringing has shaped his sensitivity to context and his ability to understand how spaces interact with social, political, and environmental forces. This background fuels his curiosity and informs his approach to the built environment.

Rayan holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the German Jordanian University and received a scholarship to study urban planning at the Technical University of Dortmund. His passion for urban design is furthered by his participation in workshops and his role as a tutor at the Architectural Association Visiting School Berlin, focusing on urban regeneration of abandoned urban mega structures.

Currently, Rayan works as a site architect at Galandi Schirmer Architekten und Ingenieure GmbH in Berlin, where he oversees site construction, ensuring the execution of projects aligns with design intent and quality standards.
