The Grundschule Michendorf project involves the extension of the school with new classrooms, a kitchen with a Mensa, and a modern Sporthalle, all designed to meet the evolving needs of the school community. A standout feature of this project is the use of wooden beams as large-span load-bearing structural elements in both the Mensa and Sporthalle, which not only enhance the structural efficiency but also add a natural aesthetic to the spaces. This sustainable design choice aligns with modern environmental practices. Currently in the construction supervision phase, the project focuses on ensuring all work adheres to building regulations and architectural plans. This phase includes coordinating with contractors, conducting quality inspections, and monitoring progress to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget, delivering a functional and modern learning environment.
